You pair of bandits are just to funny, I started watching matt and paul when paul and Mitchell were already going and helped Matt's with more adventures. It was great to watch the great wheeling and also a privilege to be able to see and share with the heart aches! Then I found MOSG😂

I've been around aviation for over 50 years. I know that the noise level in that C-150 had to of been crazy without any insulation. I flew my C-170B a couple of hours without insulation. If it doesn't wasn't for good headsets it would of been hard on the ears. Your video brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing!

Been around aviation for over 50 years also and have a 170B project going. A good pair of noise canceling headsets makes all the difference in the world, feel much less fatigue on long day of flying if you don’t have to put up with the drone for hours.

Talking about taking small planes cross country, a buddy of mine went to Alaska and back from Dayton, Ohio twice with his dad. Needless to say, trips of a lifetime.

We flew our Cessna 210 from northern Michigan to Columbia. South Carolina was our first stop stayed a few nights and then flew down to Lakeland Florida. That was a fun trip.

Boy I bet that was a Ride in that plane. Especially if he hit any storms. Even the Civic in heavy rain and wind can be interesting to say the least...LOL..Hope You both had a safe trip too and back from Indiana...

You know what they say about small planes, "If you have time to spare, travel by air."

Man... I threw a pushrod in my '68 Chevy II Nova SS just west of Tucumcari... I had it fixed and running before my buddy got back with the tow truck... 'ole boy at the parts store had a new set... that he literally blew the dust off of and hooked me up with.

I remember flying in my dads Cessna 172 from Long Beach to Kansas City when I was 5, as a kid it was exciting and boring at the same time lol

Flying the 150 to Indiana would be fun, driving the Honda round trip not so much.

I flew from Redmond Oregon to Lakeland Florida in a Lancair IV-P... We were averaging close to 300kts, not a bad ride. You would have lost bad if you were racing us.

I would have given the nod to the Honda but it appears that little Cessna seems to have the edge so far
@MerlinsOldSchoolGarage2 жыл бұрын
The Cessna definitely was doing good on the trip

What kind of a race has you stopping and helping him fix it?! Don't you know the Top Gear rules for races?? You NEVER stop to help the others. Their problem for breaking down! 😂 Seriously though, while the Cessna is certainly louder and less comfortable, getting in 5 hours earlier on the first day is a HUGE win. Gas is more expensive but man, that time difference is great!

Well sometimes you have to help your opponent to keep him in the race🤣🤣🤣🏁 Or the race is over at that point

In the Honda, you don't have to file a flight plan or deal with air traffic control.

Would have been better pulling the 150 on a trailer behind the Civic.

Even with the headwinds the Cessna would be faster as it’s more straight line than following the curvy highways.
