That last clip of the bike idling showcased how tight and vibration free the motor was, indicating possiblle crank balancing and custom motor work or just the hall mark of a superbly great 2 stroke motor design by honda and company.....lol....if i was the cameraman shooting a video of MY 89 cr250...., ib be saying in my head," oh yeah look at that perfectly smooth vibration free bike....no one can talk shit and say this bike clapped out whow smooth this thang runs....just look at her hettied and tuned to perfection to hold that low idle w out dying out...,......";NOW thats 1 cleaned and maintained carb ""........see if u just took care of your stuff and didn't overlook or ignore any aspect of a bike then you 2.....can have a beauty such as this..as healthy as. This..., as well modifyied and tuned to perfection..the amount of sheer passion and sweat equity accumulated makes this bike an object of lust!!!....

Loveeeing it bro. Got a couple of 125s from 89 still. Im digging the white number plates and fender.. Im trying figure out if the factory connection frame gaurds from the 89 cr250 and 500 will fit the 125s.

Man u got her jetted pretty crisp with it not loading up and stalling out at that low idle speed so nice job!!!....i can tell you ate in a colder climate at a higher elevation most likely so what is your hetting numbers for where u live???....right now in central florida we have 100 degree pkus days woth exytemly high humidity levels so most 2 stroke bike owners that dont know much about adjusting and tuning carbs end up a bike running sooooooo rich in this summertime nastyness and they end of thinking their bike is getting tired or whatever else they may think but......my 1989 cr250 is no where as nicr and fresh as yours but honestly im good with carbs and to get mine jetted and running correct in this heat i had to drop the main grom 178...all way down to 165....pilot from 60 to 42...no joke....stock needle on the meanest setting all way up top...and i still could only have air screw no more than 1.5 turns out and any richer it would not be as crisp...so 1.5 turns out was perfect and bike went from a blubbery turd back to a fiery beast ...crisp....rippin hard and powerful....and at 40:1 ...it was awesome w castor based klotz benol...mmm love tht stuff....and spark plug was absolutely gorgeous dry mocha brown perfectly uniform all around and that was after 5 hours on a new plug had the plug covered so nicley for a good analysis.....so I may have to re jet come winter but we will see...i thought these numbers where goin to be very lean but it turned ouy almost perfect so just wanted to share my hetting story and see what yours ate were u live...
