Hi Mitch, totally agree that the suspension is the weak point of the bike, and is liable to bottom out in a strong wind... But I found that in practice it's really not as bad as it's made out to be, especially since a lot of the time I'm standing up anyway and don't notice the rear shock. But no doubt the suspension would be the first thing I'd replace on my own CRF and would make the bike a whole lot better. Cheers for the comment!

There is clear mention from 11:35 suspension is the main weakness. But yes, from sitting on one in the showroom it felt very very soft. Me being 95kg and adding 10kg of riding gear this is something I expect will matter when I eventually try one. It is cheap but adding stuff like better suspension and whatnot will put the total price up and open up for other options. I sometimes wish for a 400-500 version at €10k but I think the low entry price and simplicity is the key to this bike’s popularity. Thanks for the review!
