Three hours is the runtime for a tank of fuel under a high load so that is nothing abnormal unless you were under a light load. I haven't looked through my owners manual for that information yet but when you go to the Honda website and scroll down quite a ways it says a tank of fuel will last three hours to eight hours.

michael dev it can run with ethanol. Fuel with ethanol with shorten the life of any engine. Always best to run ethanol free fuel in gas engines.

Chrislov3 Bigniggy 10w 30 is what’s recommended. You can also use synthetic oil if you’d like. But doesn’t matter as long as it’s 10w30

It clearly states this info in the manual. Page 51 tells all (including temp your generator is being used).

Ethanol gas has a short self life. It gums up and will plug up your carb. If you use your generator weekly.. Keeping fresh gas in it.. you will be ok. Most people do not use this generator that frequently. Long term.. Things just work better , for small engines like this. I run my generator only when power goes off.

Of course. It just might not run the vacuum and the pressure washer. You’d want the larger one. We used to do auto detailing. And had the 7500 Honda, just way easier if you’re out all day on gas. This Honda will burn through unless you’re filling between details.

Sounds Like You Have Bad Fuel. Drain your tank, and clean out the bowl in the carb. And use fresh fuel with a fuel treatment in it.

I heard it was best to use ethylene-free gas. Also, that way you don’t need a fuel stabilizer if not used up within 3 months.

They literally say check and manage the oil level before every use in the video.

I know off turns it off! But it usually will click but when it been running for a good while you have to HOLD it in the off position otherwise it kinda of snaps back and won’t turn off
