#Honda #Fit is a sporty looking 5-door 5-seat hatchback car which is well-known for its one-box design; forward-located fuel tank; re-configurable interior and superior cargo capacity.
It’s versatile, easy to get in and out, and economical. Honda marketed the Fit as "Small is the New Big".
Original model name was Fitta which could be confused with some offensive slang words in Europe. Therefore, it was discontinued. Instead, it carries nameplates of Honda Fit and Honda #Jazz.
Honda Fit 1st Generation was introduced in 2001 and the 4th generation is in production from 2020. Fits are equipped with i4, i-DSC and VTEC engines with capacities differing between 1.2 -1.5 liter. These engines generate around 130horsepower which is quite enough for a hatchback car. Up to 6-speed automatic and manual transmissions, CVT and 7-speed dual clutch transmissions are available depending on the models. Hybrid models of Honda Fit were available in the market from 2010. Fuel consumption stands at around 15-26 km/L.
The fourth-generation Fit’s trim levels for the Japanese market are Basic, Home, Ness, Crosstar and Luxe.
