It's not suggested to put a 240 tire on the stock rim. You would either need to widen the stock wheel or do a fat tire conversion to fit the 240 or 250 tire. Hope this helps!

Good job, though using the measurements in the video the effective width of the tire is only 209mm. You would have been better off installing a 210mm tire on the stock Fury wheel. It will be just as wide, cheaper, and look better. my 2 cents.

@Romanflight 240 is the max without modifiying/ or cutting the frame. We have another video that show us putting a 240 on a 7" modified stock rim.

@futhermucker1 Yes you can, I have a 240 Metzler on my Raider, I'm planning on a 260 next change. You can lower it up to 2 inches also.

So is it safe to run a 240mm Metz on a stock 6.25" wide wheel? No issues?? Does it wear properly? I'd like to see some video of this with the fender back on to see how it looks, if it's significantly wider or not...?

This bolt holds the shaft drive from moving around on the swingarm. We think either way it should work. LM

Nice job. I just bought a 2010 Yamaha Raider. My question is can I install a rear 240 tire on my stock swingarm and have enough clearence? I also want to drop it about 2" to 21/2"....possible? Thanx

How did you get the rear end to sit so low. The rear shock spring conversion doesn't get it to sit that low.

The bolt was a comment that has nothing to do with the 240 tire. We just noticed it and we have seen that is does not effect anything.

Is 240m the Max you can put on the Fury? If so, what changes did you have to make?
