Honda Goldwing Bobber Build | E5 - Engine Removal Part One

I bought a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100 motorcycle for $600 and am chopping it into a bobber. This is my first motorcycle build and assisting me on this project are my mechanic father and his merry crew of friends. With all this combined wisdom, we should be able to make something worthwhile. I am going to show you a lot of detail in this video build series, so subscribe, like, and hit the notification bell so that you will benefit from all this wisdom, just like me. Together, we'll learn how to build a motorcycle! In this video I make my first attempt to remove the engine from the frame.

Right to the last bolt and you leave us hanging! Well, come to think of it, the engine's hanging too so I guess it's a draw. Not sure who your helper is, but that was quite the moon shot at 13:30! Sounds like whoever that is has had a bike or two taken apart before. Keep it up!

😂 oh the moon shot, that would be courtesy of my father. I get help from him and his crew of buddies every once in a while - it's a decent collection of wisdom and makes the build more fun, at least for me. None of them want to be on camera though.

I wish i would have watched this before I started mine last week! I could not figure out the c-clip on the drive shaft for about an hour. Although i did learn to take the long front mounting bolt out first which caused less issues when pulled. Nice job so far!!
