I bought a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100 motorcycle for $600 and am chopping it into a bobber. This is my first motorcycle build and assisting me on this project are my mechanic father and his merry crew of friends. With all this combined wisdom, we should be able to make something worthwhile. I am going to show you a lot of detail in this video build series, so subscribe, like, and hit the notification bell so that you will benefit from all this wisdom, just like me. Together, we'll learn how to build a motorcycle!
In this video I explain the grand plan to turn the Goldwing into a custom monoshock bobber style motorcycle is revealed. I go over plans on how I will chop the frame and parts that I am getting rid of.

Well something will happen. If nothing else, a non-running bike will be cut into pieces. Which is better than a perfectly good running bike being cut into pieces. :)

Thanks! This is a bike that would have been scraped if I had not bought it, so hopefully it is not too offensive to Goldwing purist that I am chopping it. I feel that I am saving it and giving it new life. Hopefully I do a good job.

@@HooptieDoodle Am also curious, but i think that everything will be fine. It is as you say otherwise that engine would have been good for the landfill and now you can maybe make something beautiful out of it

@@HooptieDoodle Just don't make it a "cafe racer"... That's got to be one of the stupedist mods you can do to a big street bike..
