Honda Jazz, Fit, Civic, CRV, HRV, Accord Faulty Automatic Transmission Speed Sensor Replacement Job. Honda Jazz Fit will not go into drive mode.
We had difficulty putting it into driver mode but after Changing the transmission speed sensor the problem was fixed.

Friend, is the speed sensor on the fit jazz old manual transmission in the same location as the fit jazz old automatic? I'm from Brazil, but I didn't find videos here in my country about this exchange. My car is also from 2004, manual transmission and I need to change this part, but I don't know exactly where it is located.

Best to have a look at your gearbox casings to see if there is one at the same location

Hi I have a 2005 honda jazz automatic is the speed sensor I buy Manual or the automatic which is more expensive. But the euro car parts said the manual is a fit fory car ?I'm buying in the next hour ??

My cars been jerking like crazy, got it scanned and came up with the code obd 22 excessive change of the vehicle speed sensor. Had a look at the sensor and it looks to be covered in dark grease or oil? Could the sensor be causing the jerking and rpm surge leading to triggering the engine light and stalling the car, ( CVT Honda jazz 1.4 )

@@elijahkasweshi4480 changed speed sensor, and also added that xado 120 revitalizant into transmission and problem seems to have been solved. No more juddering or triggered warning light, car drives smooth.

Same for my honda fit the code is p1885, I already change the CVT fluid but no improvement.

this would be the solution to the error code p1885? the obd2 informs me the error code p1885 and the D is blinking in my case.

I have same issue with p p1885 honda jazz 2006 the problem is when it's cold the drive will not engaged I have to wait 15 mins then it's will drive normal
