I own a Oct 68 Africa Twin DCT I’ve ridden the NT 1100 manual in my opinion I would have either but would like to try the NT 1100 Dct before I choose my next motorcycle which will definitely one of these brilliant motorcycles 😊

@@MotoAddictedGood to know because I ordered one with DCT. Should come this month. 😃. I read in various comments on youtube that there might be a problem with the DCT in bends due to the absence of an IMU. I think the idea here is to say that the DCT has a tendency to shift up a gear or two because it hasn't got the information about the lean angle and therefore "thinks" the bike is cruising along on a straight. Have you had any issue with that ? What's your comment on this kind of caveat? Thanks.

Nice driving, interesting is that I see that you sometimes manually downshift, so you have to put it again in driving position or just give it gas and then it automatically switches back to driving position. 👍

You can manually select a higher or lower gear in auto by pressing the plus or minus buttons my Africa Twin Dct allows you this

Don't think that the design of the AT and the NT is a deception, they are the same when you get on the bike you are seeing the same buttons, the same pinecone, the same screen, everything is the same...

How does it feel compared to the Africa twin? I love the Africa twins engine but I'm worried it won't be good/sporty enough for purely road use. The looks of the Africa twin are also miles ahead of this NT1100 in my opinion..

I completely agree with you mate! I choose the África Twin every day 💪 The engine feels more punchier and the rider experience is not so diferente compared to the NT!
