I have been using 2019 model honda cb500x for daily commuting and long distance touring in the Netherlands for past 7 months. Honda CB500X is well-suited for touring due to its comfortable ergonomics, reliable and efficient engine, good wind protection, and versatile suspension setup. It strikes a balance between performance and comfort, making it a reliable companion for both short trips and extended tours. I can easily cruise on long trips 130 km all day with sufficent amount of power left for overtaking. And i have done trips to germany alps with bigger companions sv650,moto morini 650 and few bigger engines. I can very easily cope up with them because of its versatile nature and linear torquey smooth engine.

Everyone wants to compete in Himalayan's niche. But nobody is ready to give the value that it gives. It is definitely not the best in segment. But for the price, its worth it. If brands wanna compete with himmy, then they got to bring vehicles at a cost somewhere KTM operates.

thalaiva. 5 lakhs ku no way. twin cylinder is different from single cylinder. two throttle bodies, two fuel injectors, twin discs, twin pistons, 4 extra valves, double cylinders, extended cam shaft, extended crank shaft and so on. all the parts used in honda are built to last and never ever compare it with bikes like aprilia. when aprilia bike lasts 1 lakh without many issues for all people, i will agree this is overpriced. till then no. accesories are over priced. even in thailand its 5.3 lakh without road taxes. india charges road taxes that makes it expensive.

@@surandera.g.6793 Thailand la bro 5.3 lakh bro. Cub route 60k extra avlo dhan. Aprilia la crank shaft piston brakes suspension ellame compromised. Check the price nissin sintered pad calipers showa bff sp. Ellame pricey dhan. It's good quality machine. If made in india it ll cost 5.3 lakh at max. Even in Japan it's 5.3 lakh dhan. If u keep yen price as 0.65. Yen is currently low. But generally it ll be 0.65. do u think they give it for less than what they charge in Japan.

@@surandera.g.6793 companies like Bajaj Aprilia don't care about the quality. U buy Aprilia once n u ll understand what I mean. Yes for people who clock less than 40k kms in 5 years it makes sense. Persons who want to use it on long run and clock more than 1 lak kms these bikes doesn't stand a chance. Aprilia is notorious for quality issues even in their racing world let alone production bikes.
