A quick video that is hopefully useful to any owners of a small outboard that is stalling at idle. A walk through of the process for removal of the carburettor for cleaning. This issue is commonly caused by gumming up of the carb especially where it has sat with old fuel for the winter.
Whilst ultrasonic cleaning is said to be the best method for a thorough clean I have found removal and a good working over with carb cleaner is enough to get things running again.
