Yeah we are expecting problems, but so far so good. We are probably going to get a skid steer to plow as a heavier duty option. The pioneer has been amazing and we will definitely keep it

@@loganmartin8613 The Bobcat Toolcats are pretty awesome, not cheap but then again neither is a skidsteer and they have a TON of attachments for them.

@@WilliamStewart1 I would love a toolcat, but we have some trails through trees we need to plow in February. It is like 2.5-3 feet of snow. I don't think a toolcat would be able to do it. we have a dozer right now but we are looking to trade it for a skid steer.

Why would the weight be an issue for anything but suspension?

I traded in my 17 pioneer 1k with 2200 hours all of it plowing snow and drop spreading salt, we had to do the ecm clutch adjustment but other than that fluid only, its much more durable than you think.

I have a plow just like that on my polaris ranger its a great plow 1 pass done but I was wondering are you using the stock springs its a heavy plow boss v plow
@loganmartin8613 Жыл бұрын
Yes I am, we have noticed it weighs down the front suspension quite a bit but if we put sand bags in the back it levels it out plus helps with grip. The suspension has held up better than I expected and it still is very nice to drive without the plow.

What’s the cost of the plow.
@loganmartin8613 Жыл бұрын
I think it was around $3500
@kamandi75223 жыл бұрын
is that a 700 or 1000?

This is a 1000 le model from 2018
@loganmartin86133 жыл бұрын
@Toast Pirate The 1000 we have has plenty of power and if you are plowing 10-12 inches maximum the 700 should be fine. If you are plowing up to around 20 I would get the 1000. Either way I would recommend putting sand bags in the bed for weight.
