HONDA PRELUDE CATCH CAN INSTALL

I have needed a catch can on thr prelude for a while now.. The stock PCV system keeps failing and I have been having smoking issues. This setup includes two vents on the front of the valve cover, two -8an braided lines, and. radium universal dual catch can that I had to make a custom bracket for. The bracket still needs more reinforcing, but I ran out of time. Stay tuned and subscribe.

Here's something I notice on these catch can install videos (I've been doing a lot of research on this for some reason). Most Hondas I see just vent the valve cover twice to a vented catch can. From what I understand, ideally, you want a vacuum in your crankcase. The factory system attempts this by routing lines to both the intake manifold, and the intake piping before the throttle body. The way it seems that Honda people route it, sure it does let off excess pressure, but it doesn't create any sort of vacuum. I wonder why other people do it differently on those engines and what the differences are.

So hows the catch cans working out? I've got excessive crankcase pressure as new seals: cams, distributor and VTEC solenoid were all leaking oil. Replaced the PCV valve but that may not be enough. Debating on using the Level 7 oil cap adapter with an external and vented catch can.

Having new fittings welded to that in the rear and having it redone.

People swear by the stock intakes. My husband's car has a jdm type-s air intake on it

@@vanilllamint Yeah i need type s intake to bring back to stock. But i do need a catch can as oil goes into intake. My engine needs rebuilt as it shakes over 3k rpm and smokes. Does your car have a super damper?

Crank pulley is from my origin motor. EuroR is a single row. I want to upgrade to the ATI crank pulley when I rebuild

Okay. Thank you. I have a few ideas however. Perhaps you could help me. 1. My 4th gen is under heavy reconstruction/ restoration and when finally finished will be nothing sort of a masterpiece. Lol That being said I haven't done much with the Chapter in recent years. I want to seriously change that. The Las Vegas crew is much more proactive. The Reno side (where I live) is very much not. I lost contact with Ceasar. Is he still available? If not who could I contact for BBA Chapter issues as far as getting things going again? 2.) I found an automotive window molding company called Steele. I forget if it's Steele Molding or Steele Rubber, etc. But they are currently hesitant of making all of our Prelude molding because they are struggling with the fact of if it will be profitable for them to produce our molding. However they fail to understand the massive Prelude following not only in the USA but the world. If you and the Prelude community could help me convince Steele to make our molding we'd have it made.
