Original owner of my 02 RC. Never selling. I'm not interested in any other sport bike replacing it. All the sport bike I need and I love it.

Great video. I love mine, had her 6 years now and she's a keeper! The noise it makes is like nothing else :-) (mine is a 2000 reg Colin Edwards Castrol rep)

I had one with the titanium SATO exhaust....The gear driven cams have that awesome sound especially on deceleration....I remember starting it up at a gas station under the roof so sound would amplify a bit and it sounded ferocious upon start up...I had to get rid of the exhaust because as awesome as it sounded it was so deep and loud it literally wore me out while riding...lol

Best made for the road bike ever to come out of Japan or probably anywhere else. 21 years on from the first model (sp1) and there´s still nothing else I´d consider buying. Enough said.

It's the whine of the cam drives under the blatter. I don't know why but it's glorious!

Not the fastest bike but the best bike. I've had mine since new bought back in 2000 and I still enjoy it with 33XXX original km.
@javierlegarda31106 жыл бұрын
sillieww thinking buy one sp1 with 25.000km. any problems with the bike? its good decision? if you can return to 2000, you buy it? Sorry for the english.
@sillieww6 жыл бұрын
Javier my SP1 has 33XXX km and I've had it for 18 years and its been the best motorcycle I've ever had. Mechanically nothing has been replaced just maintenance done and if you know the history of the one you're interested in, buy it. Good luck

I love the fact that hes sticking his knee out but is barely leaning 10degrees lol. Best thing about this clip is the sound.
@David.Horne726 жыл бұрын
Its called body position, it has nothing to do with how far your leaning over, or even to drag your knee. Body position will always give you full control of you bike at any speed slow or fast
@jaredru98285 жыл бұрын
No need for body position when your not even leaning the bike, squid
@David.Horne725 жыл бұрын
@@jaredru9828 Haha thats a squid comment right there, I have been riding for 30 plus years track and road
@jaredru98285 жыл бұрын
That doesn't impress me or make it right
@jaredru98285 жыл бұрын
I've logged over 500,000 miles in the last 20 years, body position is a track and squid thing. That bike can do 3 times that speed sitting in the saddle
