Nice video! For now I went cheap and fixed mine (Rebel 1100). I added a gel pad, an inch of foam over it and stitched it back together. It's a bit beefier so I had to replace the cover too. Much better for about $50 and it looks almost the same, just slightly less banana shape.

Good review of the Mustang Tripper. I should be getting mine for my 2022 Rebel 500 this week. I could tell immediately that the OEM seat from Honda wasn't going to cut it. Thanks for the review.

5 foot 6 rebel rider(not a handle, rebel rider lives in Australia)here. i like the seat. my oem seat isn't bad. it does cause a little numb butt after a couple of hours, but not bad. I just got the floor boards for my 2019 rebel. went for a short ride, and i didn't like the way my brake foot was positioned. with the pegs i could keep my foot just to the right above the lever, but with the boards it feels weird. i took them off. i may put them back on, just have to raise the brake pedal some. anyway nice seat, i'am looking at options.

I have a 2021 300 Rebel. I got for around town, no long trips no highway. I love my 300. I have chosen the Corbin Gunfighter seat. Its very comfortable and yes a bit pricey. I'm very happy with my new seat.

I have the first year Rebel 500, 2017. The seat was replaced and now is a Mustang, and it is holding up well. I am also 5’-6” and both feet are on the ground. My passenger seat is a third party non mustang but I may get the mustang for an upgrade but it is $235.00 but I need to have my wife comfortable.

I just ordered the Mustang Seat, also i switched the Fairing to a Puig one, matching the Indian Scout Rogue. I installed a high Sissybar (my kids love it). A Miller Exhaust ;) and saddlebags. That's it..... for now hahaha

I love my Mustang seat it made a big differance in the ride. I also installed a set of T-Rex racing floor boards it really made a differance because it dropped the level of where the pegs were and gave me a little more leg room. Good luck with your seat !!!

@@SLIGHT_ thank you very much! Loving your videos man. One of the best on KZfaq for sure. Would you still recommend the Mustang seat after all this time? How much does it push you forward? I try to sit as far back on the stock seat as possible with an air cushion on top which kinda slides around (annoying!) Does the Mustang seat raise you more than stock?

@@AM-cz4fd thank you for the kind words. Absolutely I recommend the mustang seat. Still one of my favorite upgrades to my rebel. It raises the seat up 3/4” to 1”approximately and similar forward.

Possibly, A friend of mine did this to his rebel… It is a little cheaper… and it does work. Just not as good. Thanks for your comment

I am 5'0. I can barerly touch the ground. Do you think I can still change it for this? The stock seat is terrible (I have a 2020 Rebel 500). I am looking for a new seat and the Corbin had been getting bad reviews and bad customer service plus they don't ship to my country. So the Mustang seat is on the list. Is it worth the money?

I absolutely love it. It will move you up but it’s not as hard as the oem seat so it does not move you ip that measured 1”. If you’re barely touching the ground now, it may be to tall. Yet if I may ask… do you ride with 1 or both get on the ground? If both… may I suggest you try to learn to have your left leg down. You’ll gain height immediately. I find many bikes I can’t touch the ground with both feet. But have no issues with one leg. The Rebel is low enough that this should work for you.

@@SLIGHT_thank you. Yes, I am riding eith both. I'm afraid the option to use one leg is out of the question for me because I broke my knee in 2019 and ended up in coma after several operations. So I thought my dream of riding a motorcyckle was gone. But my dad found the Rebel and we tried it and it fit. It's not too tall for me to have both feet but just barerly. I have not yet lowered the suspension in fear of it ruining the experience. It's a great idea, and I would if I wasn't 'handicapped'. But I am just glad I can drive at this point and lucky my leg wasn't amputated to just gotta learn with what you got 😂 thank you so much though for your answer and help 😊

Yeah it might be a good saddle but I paid less for my Honda Rebel than what this seat goes for on Amazon.

Less then $700? Wow… what a deal for your rebel. I get the price is high. Yet that’s typical for good seats. You can always buy the seat other places too.
