going to do this rebuild myself I'm a Honda mechanic working for Honda in Riverhead New York, Apple Honda for 5 yrs 2007-2012now working for myself doing construction I still flip cars on the side, I do a lot of work on cars but not rebuilding transmissions I never have but have all the tools to do so and have swung quite a few motors n trannys so I'm confident and especially after watching this video (thank you for posting) that I can handle it, I bought a civic and I knew it needed work cosmetically which I fixed, but I kind of got screwed and the trans started to slip when I left and I had already paid for the car, was a mutual friend long story but yea now I'm in a position to have no choice but to fix it to recoup my investment. can u please tell me where can I get a rebuild kit complete w torque converter ? and should I replace torque converter if 180k miles only slipping into third gear ? i plan to use all new oem seals and bearings unless the kits have high quality ones, majestichonda.com is where i get most of my parts but to do this kit thru them would prob be pricey still, if there is an aftermarket option thats best lmk ! thanks Robert M Geiger 631-357-0020 Cell BobbygAutomotive@gmail.com

Appreciate your videos. Thank you. You are definitely an expert and hoping you might help us please. Do you have any idea why our 1990 Honda Accord Auto Transmission does not shift into reverse sometimes and makes the funny clicking sound? Other times we start it and it shifts into reverse perfectly. We've flushed the AT and put the Honda fluid, check the solenoids and cleaned the small screens. Here is a video of the sound..
