Do some research before buying into the VersAttach system. The engine is great. It is quiet, usable at low and medium RPM, and doesn't require pre-mix. Maintenance and repair parts are reasonable from Honda and inexpensive aftermarket. Its only drawback is that it is somewhat heavy for its power. Almost everything beyond the engine is proprietary with wildly expensive parts. The rest of the system is made by Nikkari, a small Japanese company. Parts are about 10x what you would expect. The trimmer head grease port plug bolt is $50. A replacement plastic cover for the hedge trimmer blade is $105. An adjusting screw for the pole pruner, an easily stripped part, is $58.

Good video! This machine is sold at Home Depot for around $400. with the string trimmer attachment, that is a good price. I have always liked the idea of a 4 stroke trimmer for torque, noise, and efficiency, as well as the fact that I don't have the cost or hassle of mixing oil into the gas. Some of the other 4 stroke engines on trimmers require a gas/oil mixture like a 2 stroke engine, namely Stihl is one that does this. Honda engines are all known for their starting ability in all types of weather; I have read that many commercial boats use Honda engines on their water pumps because they will start easily in adverse conditions.

I'm a Honda guy myself, having Honda mowers and I chose Echo's PAS with the 2620 power head (2 stroke gas) but being a Japanese company it is relatively quiet, durable and low-emissions compliant as of 2018. I also chose it over the Honda due to attachment variety and I have a dealer about a 10 minute walk from my house versus an hour's drive. Honda just started offering the system last year versus Makita, Stihl, MTD and Echo having their systems available in North America for more than five years.

the ability to have attachments is nothing new but I'm impressed its a 4 stroke engine.

Combi systems are excellent, providing you buy a good quality one. I do gardening for a living and use the Husqvarna 535LK pro combi! It's quite expensive but worth every penny!

I just bought into this system, haven't put it together yet though. I just bought a multi-acre property and the battery stuff just doesn't cut it for me due to overall service time. I have to spend as much as 2 hours weed waacking the property or trimming trees. So I wanted something that was fuel efficient and affordable. I bought the powerhead here before I had bought an Echo string trimmer and now looking back I wasn't sure if I made the right choice going with the Honda system vs the Echo one...

Is the tiller powerful enough to loosen up at all a dead spot in the lawn that's hard bare compacted dirt? In order to plant new grass seed to fix a bare spot in the lawn the dirt spot must be loosened up and a tiller would make the job easier is why I'm asking. Thanks!

everything you showed with 10% tax comes to 2000$,with price of just two attachment you can buy complete set from other brand,even if they last 5 years or so still cheaper than this you are not going to use it more than 10, 15 times a year any way,even the chines one last 100 use,before something happens
