Ashley, my life is so similar to yours (4 kids, working, sports, and hs). My pediatrician encouraged me several years ago to turn over the laundry to my kids. When they were in elementary school we started with them doing small parts of it (loading or unloading) and by middle school, they all could do their own. I don't touch their laundry and only do my own, the towels, and my sheets. They haven't even ruined any clothes. It has been a game-changer for my time and sanity and they have developed a life skill. A win for us all.

This brings me back to the zoom call I had with you where TIME was my biggest hurdle between Homeschooling and running my Counseling business. I think your use of the word "Juggle" is perfect. Even though homeschooling has gained popularity over the years, it’s still pretty rare, and your videos are such a help and such an encouragement to me. I found your channel right at the beginning of my journey when my oldest was starting kindergarten 4 years ago and I decided to homeschool. I would love to see the laundry room update. I wish ours was upstairs instead of the walk through from the garage to the house. I finally caught up on laundry when I had each kid start doing their own laundry and 1 extra load about every 2 weeks (general family linens/towels). They started around ages 11/10/8. And I started folding/hanging right out of the dryer. Otherwise I end up with a wrinkled mess and I don't iron. Now it doesn't always get put away immediately since I hate lugging it all upstairs.

Room transformations are fun to watch! I appreciated your honesty in the video in that not all of our days are positive and go well, but as wives, mothers, homeschoolers, and business owners, it can be a struggle. I agreed with you that it isn’t a balancing act, but a juggling act and each of us needs to be cognizant of what we are prioritizing. Love your videos! They keep me motivated!!

Would love to see the Laundry room makeover. We had a house built 3 1/2 years ago and I wish I would of upgraded our laundry room. So I have been wanting to redo it, and for $800 would be awesome!

I was looking at good and beautiful for next school year, and it looks like they are discontinuing their history courses. What are you planning to use instead? For my 12 year old we used good and beautiful for language arts, science and history. Do you have a favorite online math program? We did teaching textbooks and it wasn't a good fit.

I just listened to an Amazing podcast for homeschool moms. Its called Jesus Calling and the episode was Ufailing Grace and Sacred Rest:Julie Carrick and Dr.Saundra (Feb 25). We require different forms of rest for our body mind and soul and its crucial we get it. I was so moved by this podcast just like I was with the book Teaching from Rest (for the homeschool mom) from Sarah Mackenzie. I have made changes in how our day flows based on these and we incorporate a less is more, dont have to do everything in the lesson- make it work comletely for you so everyone gets that peace and rest. It was a big change but I was trying to fit too much in and be structured to the point it was stealing joy. I will always love Ashley for getting us onto a system with tgatb and a flow that looks closely like hers but that we could make our own.

Hi! Please please understand I mean no offense by this. I'm simply just asking you to be careful with Jesus Calling and anything by Sarah Young. They appear Biblical but in fact are not. Sarah Young has admitted to channelling in order to write her books and this is satanic. I'm really not trying to be dramatic, but just want to warn you, as I was deceived by false and feel good teachings for many years. I am so so grateful that the Lord used Doreen Virtue, here on KZfaq, to open my eyes. Doreen was also deceived for many years until Jesus saved her in her 50s/60s. Again, please don't think I'm being rude, I just want to help spread awareness..
