I personally love this game! Only "issues" I had was that I ended up completing most areas and maxed out most of the upgrades by the time I was halfway through the game. Only thing slowing me down was waiting for the story to tell me it was time to "evolve." Didn't bother me too bad though, I was thoroughly enjoying just running amok. The real problem came in when I got to the end of the game (which by that point was almost laughably easy with my upgrades maxed) and there was nothing left to do. I had hoped for some type of New Game + mode, but sadly there was not. Fun as it was, there's no real replay value 🤷

I finished this game within likw 2 days of its release and got platinum. I never had a problem with the frame rate. Even with the problems. Its half the price of any other game

Gameplay-wise, it’s definitely Jaws Unleashed, but plot-wise, it’s Mafia III under the sea. Hear me out: Both games take place in a fictional Gulf Coast city, with a story told through the lens of a documentary series, in which the protagonist embarks on a bloody rampage of revenge after the only family they’ve ever known is murdered by a white guy

Some of this stuff was cut from the game. The jellyfish was one of those. You can only see Jellyfish if you encounter a glitch were their behind something you can't get to. I believe their coming in the Truth Quest DLC this Summer. The sharks face also slightly changed from that trailer.

These are my predictions for future dlcs/updates 1) I believe we will get a dlc and they are gonna add a lvl 60 and that will be a megledon or bigger. Because Wales are level 45-55 so I think we could level up even more soon. 2) We may get a new Creature/apex/boss and that will be a kaiju because we have seen a t rex skull and a portal locked up on the ocean floor. So a kaiju or a prehistoric creature 3) We may get more shark to pick (great white,hammer head and more shark) and we could chose what shark to pick and what size if we hit max level 4) A new location with more achievements to do and add a dolphin or a prehistoric creature.

Scaly Pete and Shark face off is the most satisfying fights in game more than the apex predator fights .

Maneater is coming to Switch May 25th. I hope it doesn't suffer from the same framerate drops when fighting the people on boats that the console versions did. PS5 and the New Xbox have less framerate drops around the ships but they still occur just not as badly.
