Theory: from the story The Promised Neverland, there were kids in a house with a "mama" or the one who takes good care of children. They were to sell to monsters with good quality of meat and brain. Here's the twist, the children in the mv are like peculiar children, Jungwon is highly intellectual vampire, Sunghoon has fire powers, he might be the one who burned the house. Sunoo has the power to destroy things around him lime the window glass and whispering to Jungwon. Niki has levitating abilities, just like emma, he was unable to walk. There was a scene where Jake checked his eyes with a flashlight, what if he made Niki's legs detective so that he will not be sold to the monsters? What if Heesung took pills to delay his shipment? Jungwon was the one whi knew everything, there was a scene where he was observing in the window, planning for an ecscape. What if jay is Norman? There was a scene where Jay and Jake was talking and the lyric was talking about how they wandered and escaped. Sunoo was burned in the house, his lyric said "That light burned me, that light blinded me, but I go now" "Dive in to red sun no lie" and in @ you can see him sitting in the couch with windowsbaf if inside of that was burning and behind him is sunghoon's red cloth from the trailer. They were like story telling as if it happened already. In connection to the trailers, there was Sunghoon holding a camera like mama gave to ray. There was a lighter and fire there is a possibility that Sunghoon just burned his hand, his lyric stated that "You calling me over the thin line" as if he is saying that there is no turning back. There was also thr borderline area just like in the anime and the house. The tall building like background seems like a representation of burning house. The iconic dance step in @ is like they tie up the white cloth to the other side of the border where they escape. (I just copy this just want to let you know😊 )

It's definitely a song that grows on you. I wasn't too impressed with the song on the first listen, then I gave it a second chance as I watched the live performance and now I love it.

HeeSeung is an all round center. He's the oldest in the group who won the first place in all singing and dancing contests while he was a trainee in the BIGHIT. He was so well known as the legendary trainee to other trainees in South Korea. He's selfless, very helpful to the members with dance moves, vocals as well. He makes his own songs all by himself! If you watch the ENHYPEN Dance Jam Live, you will find out how goooood he's at freestyling.

Love your reaction. I absolutely love this song and MV. ENHYPEN rocked it. I think that the orphanage in the video is representative of their time on the show I-Land. I believe that the physical changes (changing into vampires) they show in the video is representative of the physical and mental changes they went through during the intense training for the show. Vampires was a genius way to represent their journey. Going from trainee to idol. Also love the vampire feel because just like how vampires suck blood of others to feed, idols feed off the energy that fans give them. The whole concept is incredibly impressive. It is just my theory of the title - Given signifies that they are given powers as vampires(sunghoon- controlling fire, ni-ki-levitating,jay-jake have psychic power,sunoo jungwon and heeseung i don't know . Taken ssignifies that for those powers their life is taken. So they are not sure if it's given or taken. This is just my theory

Ok theory: One of the members said the song is about if their chance to debut was given or if they took the chance to do it. What if the video portraits in a fictional way how trainees live all there together and happy trying to fulfill their dreams but they are like laboratory rats, they are given pills to turn them into something extraordinary and later on they end up being miserable because of what other people have made of them. They're just training without knowing where they're going (Jay's and Jake's verses). And then there's the fate sign behind Sunghoon and starts the give and taken part. They were calling for someone but they were also called. Then there's Niki saying "it's time for my proving". If you saw the debut showcase they divided the "boys-artist". Here you can see the Boys shooting to the sky (their dream of becoming singers) and then when they're dancing in all black (artist, just like in the showcase). And Jungwon (the boy not the artist) vanishes like he was in the avengers. This mv is rather SAD if you think about it. They're all happy but then become soulless.

Pardon my theories here 1. Niki was the first one to turn into a vampire... That's why he was chained. 2. Sunoo and Sunghoon saw Niki... And Niki accidentally or so to happen bit either Sunoo or Sunghoon... 3. The 2 new vampires discovered the secret of the house/dorm 4. The house or the dorm's secret is that Jungwon is a pure or royal or a special kind of kid... Or possibly a vampire and they were avoiding Jungwon to discover his true identity by having monthly check up... Which they didn't foresee Sunoo already bit Jungwon... 5. Jake and Jay had no idea on what's happening in the house... 6. Heeseung takes meds because he is an indenial vampire... Who doesn't like his newfound identity and he hid his discovery for himself afraid to be discovered... 7. Niki and Jungwon are related that they both held great importance on the vampire blood they posses... 8. Jungwon is a supposed to be vampire king... That's why the concept photos had him with a throne on the back. 9.jungwon was never aware on any vampire stuff and only discovered it once he was turned by sunoo My other theory is that 1:37 I think the reason why they had check ups is to see who turned to a vampire? (And the house is avoiding that to happen) Since the house is hiding the children's secret to the children themselves... but the thing is... Sunoo knows or discovered who he already was and him with Sunghoon accepted their fate... While the house avoids the secret's discovery they unfortunately missed the fact that Sunoo was a good at pretending and Sunoo lured Jungwon and turned him to a vampire when Sunoo saw the opportunity... That's why jake was flashing a flashlight to Sunoo in the dark just to confirm his speculation in the house's mystery since him(jake) and jay had no idea on what's going on...( 0:38 ) you can see Sunoo is acting scared which i think was a play pretend on his character while the truth is he is playing all of the kids minds all along... The neighbors found the 7 boys suspicious so they hire a doctor to check on them but what they didnt know was that they transformed in the night.... The clips where they have medicine they are the pills given by the doctor which caused them the pain... Jungwon turning into ashes means how they cannot stand day light and they vanish.... I guess this is how it goes
