Hope you check out Domino by Kai he raps with lower tone there too. It's in the 2nd album. A lot of fans think that that should be the title track instead of peaches.

At first, I thought that it was repetitive too but then I considered that this was part of the personae he had created by constantly having to repeat what he was doing to keep pace with the secrets and lies he was telling. Then it may sense that it was so repetitive. But then I might be stretching the concept too much BUT Kai is just so engaging and fun to watch you have to enjoy it.

This repetitive vibe of the song will be in balance if you listen the whole album each time and maybe you miss Rover and comeback to it too! I'm really happy. It stuck in my head forever. 6:50: If you're gonna hear 'Domino' from his second album later, you will find it those kind of low voice/tone. Despite this 'catchy' phrase, you would get 'Bomba..bomba' or 'Boomerang.. boomerang' in this album too 😅

To me, this is the most Kai yet - mesmerising and mysterious on one level yet also effortlessly charming and full of talent. I also heard the Eastern hints, which I loved, like the instrumental and the gorgeous necklace. He said he kept it short on purpose, I wonder whether he did that because he wanted that relentless beat and repetition as a style choice. Just a thought.

Heyo! It might interest you to know that this song is a cover of the Eastern-European (Bulgarian) artist, called Dara. Her song is called "Mr. Rover". As far as I know, they have an agreement. As bulgarian and fan of Exo, I am so happy to see this collaboration. Probably this is why the song did sound Eastern for you!

His albums are a journey. Best to know the artist to really appreciate everything about this. Yes, the music, choreo, and vocals are fantastic, but to really appreciate “Kai” you have to learn about the persona. Tons of symbolism in the visuals as well but you will miss it if you don’t know him.

9:25 its so funny how you say “hmmmmmm” right before SM’s signature “vroommmmm” sound comes up in the mv, and your “hmm” pretty much has the same tune as the “vroom”😂
