There was time where Lisa is dancing with them. That’s why there was a part where she was a member and not a mentor. The show is good. However, YWY3 was cancelled at the last moment because there was a scandal with one of the finalists and a scandal in the voting process. It was so sad because all worked hard. So this season actually has no proper ending, sadly. YWY2 ended properly and they were even able to debut the winners. Yes, she spaced out that time. YWY3 was filmed during BP’s preparations for The Show. Lisa was even caught falling asleep and yawning (thankfully she didn’t get hate and instead people worried that she’s so tired and overworked) in some outtakes. Also there was this video of her performing the show dance where she collapsed to the floor right after due to exhaustion.

During the first season (girl trainees), I think Lisa was told by producers to act strict and tough to ensure the program comes out as a high-pressure reality show. As it is very far from her natural personality. In the boys trainee season, I think they let her be herself.

Not really, it's because guys mostly were trainees and they already had some dancing background, BUT with girls, mostly they were new in that show, some girls couldn't make even easy hand moves, so it was very challenging for Lisa. I've watched both seasons with Lisa, but I loved her more with girls, cause girls grew so much with her.

Definitely watch the show please. Especially the audition episodes these are so good. Plus Lisa and the other mentors do 3 performances every season. Lisa was in season 2 and 3. I want you to watch season 3 (boys season) if you have to choose one because I love Lisa’s introduction dance, her instruction dance, and her dance with the trainees (Lisa danced NCT’s kick it) more than season 2. I personally just watched for Lisa and the episodes are so long so I get impatient so after the audition episodes I skipped to Lisa’s mentoring parts then watched the final performances for the week LOL. But then again in season 2 she had the chance of meeting the girls and the mentors in person and I loved watching that interaction and seeing how much the girls truly admired her. She was also very close to the season 2 mentors so your choice honestly.

I’d love to re-watch the show with you! If you have to pick between the two seasons Lisa was in, I’d recommend Youth With You 2 (the girls’ season). It was airing around the time the pandemic first spread, so Lisa had to switch from in-person mentoring to remote mentoring around the 7th/8th episode or so, but the first few episodes where she was actually there with the trainees was priceless. Imo, she had better chemistry with the PD and the other mentors in YWY2 as well. Also, I think you’d like the PD (Kun) very much. He actually took first place in the very first season of the show, and he’s an excellent all-around performer. Along with Lisa, they gave very interesting commentary and tips about overall performance (the vocal and rap mentors were more focused on their respective fields only). However, if you do go with YWY3, it’s a very enjoyable season as well! And it might be more catered towards you. Be warned that it got cancelled towards the end because of improper voting allegations though, so it didn’t get a proper finale. Also, Lisa was in Korea the whole time, so the mentoring was all remote. I suggest reacting to the theme songs for both seasons first (Yes!Ok! and We Rock, respectively), if you’re having trouble deciding ^^

This one is Youth with you 3 its with boys but they never released a final episode because of scandals. Also Lisa is only on video calls for season 3 cause of covid. The Youth with you 2 is complete tho its the female one which you saw before with lisa training girls. Lisa is with the girls in person and I recommend that one!! With chinese survival shows theres so much extra content as well! and the episodes are long like they fully spoil you with content

The difference was also because with the girls she got to mentor them in person throughout the show, however with the guys it went on during covid so it was all through a screen. With both shows she's been both a strict mentor and a good friend to them, they just don't include it in the clips.

Mentor Lisa always same🤗 she wants them to shine bright and achieve their goals. she's super friendly if the trainees put lots of efforts and did well in practice but when the trainees not take it seriously or repeating same mistakes again then she turned into very strict to make them feel the importance.

People attacked her for being too strict and To not act the same with Girls and Boys. They obvious didn’t watch the whole show. Lisa had funny and cute moments with Both but when It was Time to practice she switch in a serious mode. And I think people Forgetting this is a Survival Show and Confusing the role of Mentor with Teacher. Mentor’s are Representative figure of The Industry their Role is to guide them, give Advices To help them reach their Goal. They’re not here to Give them lesson since they’re Trainees from different companies and should already have some skills. It’s a Contest, meant to select the ones ready to Debut. That’s why you see the group is already supposed to know the choreo. And Lisa just making some Correction, giving Tips to make it look better. Give them advice that : they have to make it work. No matter how hard it is. Cause if you can’t keep up You Out. This is a competition. This World is Though. No one will wait for you. She’s been there.
