One additional info, when SM saw how much he improved and how a great of a singer he became they made him debut as a solo artist, and for the record, he was the first idol who was in a group and had a solo debut in all sm, no one had that chance before him. Im so soo proud of him, i mean he can easily cover jonghyun's parts now, its really impressive, his will power determination and motivation are out of this world 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ahhh, that’s one of my favorite fanmade videos about Taemin, perfectly showcases his difficult journey and massive vocal development. When I discovered him in 2018 I instantly fell in love with his voice, my most beloved vocal tone (and way of singing) in entire Kpop. You guessed Day and Night correctly, Aaron. As for his Japanese songs you didn’t know it was Under My Skin, I’m Crying and Itsuka Kokode. For me it’s truly a blessing that the artist whose voice I love the most has the best discography I could possibly ask for. What I especially love about Taemin is his vocal and stylistic range - he’s unmatched in sultry songs like Move, Strings or Slave but also unmatched in both delicate and dramatic ballads like Snow Flower or Rise. Not to even mention he can easily pull off powerful, rough, rock-like vocals as well. God, I just love everything about him!!!

En el caso de TAEMIN .JONGHYUN y ONEW fueron sus primeros profesores de canto. Y el con su dedicación y trabajo logró tener una de las mejores voces del KPOP. Cubriendo las partes de JONGHYUN y ONEW .En muchas oportunidades. TE recomiendo veas el programa de LEE MUJIN SERVICE .En el TAEMIN cuenta como trabajó para conseguir tener esa hermosa voz. ❤

A mix of getting a good vocal coach, help from his members and other Sm artist(like super junior members), and his own self training. In the beginning he said they didnt want to train him vocally because he was too young and developing. But im pretty sure he got one later on in the years. But in the beginning it was purely hin self training and some help from Jjong and Onew(i think)
