Thanks for this review! I've been looking at this bag for awhile now. Wow, I'm sorry about the defect. That would really unnerve me if the bag just fell right off in the middle of the street. (I actually have this worry about my Mini Antigona as the strap on those detach by themselves from time to time. Thankfully there is a top handle to mitigate the situation a little bit.) For 1000$ bag the QA seems terrible wow. So the takeaway is to buy from an authorized dealer because you may need the extra service and policy/warranty

I'm mostly a Louis Vuitton girl with only 2 Gucci and 2 YSL pieces. If I'm going to be honest, none of these bags (including LV) are worth these prices. Sadly we stopped paying for quality many, many years ago and now just pay for the name. Quality will continue to decline while prices continue to rise because of demand. It's really the consumer's fault because we don't put our foot down and say I'm done purchasing until these luxury brands either start producing quality again or lower the prices back down to match the mediocre products they're putting out.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *hqluxy* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

I bought mine from saks fifth Ave and got it for $1,077 when saks had the 300$ off sales definitely worth it!
