so many of you have been asking me questions about scotia quay after my video of my room tour and I am FINALLY answering those questions in a real and honest video.
DISCLAIMER: all opinions are mine and if I have mentioned certain situations they have been from hearing it through friends or experienced myself. I have absolutely LOVED living and scotia and will be for the next year too. and honestly I think it’s probably the best accommodation I’ve seen compared to a lot of my friends who lived in accommodation previously and the value for money is just amazing. can’t complain :)

I lived at Scotia, was horrible. Mould everywhere in 9/10 people I have asked’s flats, highly unclean, floor stank…. There is no common room or social areas, it’s quite dire. Shower didn’t work and they weren’t fixing it, it would change from hot to cold every 5 seconds (not exaggerating) and water pressure was awfulll.. Radiator fell off the wall. Security at Scotia told someone my address and name and referred to me as a slur, they also told me that people walk in and out of the accommodation all the time without living here, as evidenced by someone trying to gain entry to my flat, also had kids throw a rock through my window, called security and they never came. Told them I had COVID before rules ended and they didn’t care what I did and offered me no help. I wouldn’t say the accommodation was worth the price too. One member of staff was SUPER rude, he literally sighed and hung up on me once. They did not help me with disabilities, it was awful. This was this year by the way! Also ps, I moved to Panns Bank and it was MUCH worse… walls are awful. Avoid!
