Such an important message! I love that you try to make people understand the commitment and responsibility. Being a good pet owner is more than just loving animals. It actually means accepting certain lifestyle adjustments, costs, planning and sometimes missing out (no spontaneous weekend away without a sitter!). In this sense it is not so different from having a small child. They totally depend on the owner.

As a long time pet sitter, dog trainer and rescue volunteer, I think you gave a really good analysis. People should also consider the differences in breeds, especially with dogs. As a dog trainer, I find that different breeds are better suited to different life styles. It would be much harder to have a large herding breed in a small apartment in a big city, for example. Pets enrich our lives and we, as you said, are the center fo their lives. Choosing wisely is so important. Thank you for making this video and for all your wonderful videos.

가슴으로 낳고 지갑으로 키우는 내 새끼...란 말이 반려가족에겐 정설이죠. 밀키는 수세미나 해치우지 ㅋㅋ 뭐람 타고난 천사견이니까 털 빠짐과 목욕과 빗질의 수고로윰을 제하고 나면 100퍼 훌륭한 변려견이자 친구죠. 그나저나 이번 소파 좋습니다. 밀키가 저리 편하게 턱 고이고 있으니...집사님 말씁보다 밀키가 더 소즁한 ㅎㅎㅎ

Perfectly well pointed out! Everything you said is absolutely relevant and true. Another thing that people seem to forget about are vet costs. I've already seen a lot of people complaining about "spending money" on treating their sick pet, which is absurd! It's so beautiful to see how responsible and dedicated you are to your pets. Small Bro, you did a wonderful job. You are a very good speaker and presented your ideas so people could understand. I have watched you since about 2020/2021. I think you do a great job with all three. One thing is that you take people seriously and try to keep getting better. Your followers have helped you and you could show these ideas to so many others. (First thing I thought of was when people told you to wear a mask when working with Milky's fur to protect your own lungs. And the tent to keep the fur contained.) You and Big Bro have done a great job. I know we don't see what Big Bro does, but he loves MBT and they love him. Thank you for this great presentation.

Well said "they are only part of our life but we are their everything"! It's more than looking after a child......A child grows up to be an adult but a grown-up pet is always your child! Eversince we had our two turles🐢🐢 in 2015......we have only went overseas/holiday once. No regret as they are the most important family's members of our household. 강아지 = 몸이 고달프다 고양이 = 정신적으로 고달프다 , 활달하고 운동등을 좋아하는 집사는 강아지과, 내향적이지만 섬세한 집사는 고양이과로군요. 저도 키워보니 강아지들은 6-7세 아동을 키우는것 같고 고양이는 2-3세 유아를 키우는것 같았어요 둘다 공통점은 털날림이고 ㅎㅅㅎ 오늘 영상은 반려를 준비하시는 집사님들에게 너무 도움이 되는내용인거 같아요 새집에 있는 밀복탄이를 보니 밀키와 광복이는 집의 한부분이고 탄이는 포인트 악세사리같아요 너무 예쁘고 잘 어울립니다

슈나우저 둘 키우다가 보내고 페르시안친칠라 한녀석 키우는데 털은 압도적으로 냥이가 많이빠짐. 강아지는 5,6살 아이를 키우는 느낌이라서 꽁냥꽁냥도 되고 교감도 더 큰데 비해서 냥이는 학시리 독립적이고 교감이 떨어지는 것같다. 강쥐는 내가 주인,엄마나 언니 느낌이면 냥이는 그냥 집사... 저는 댕댕이파이더라능~ 냥이는 떨빠지고 밥먹는 이쁜 인테리어 같아요~ㅎ

I actually take care of pets when their owners go away & I agree that adopting & taking care of dogs or cats is a responsibility & commitment. Cats are easy to keep, but you have to pay a lot of attention to the tiniest changes in behavior, because they try to hide discomfort and illness. They also need entertainment und love a regular daily schedule. They hate changes. So you actually need a predictable, repeatable, kinda quiet lifestyle.

Also, they tend to gain weight easily if you don’t provide enough exercise or entertainment. I have had friends who think they don’t need to take their cats to the vet since they are not outdoors cats, which isn’t true. Annually vet visits should be the norm for any pet to keep them healthy. Also, in my experience, cats tend to freak out more at the vet, some cats go totally ballistic and it could be really stressful for the owner and the cat. Socializing for a cat is important because you want them to be able to the very least, have a medical check without totally flipping on the vet and vet technicians.

Very good advice. A lot people get these animals,not knowing how much responsibility there is taking care of a pet. They end up giving them away. Your pet is your child. Think long and hard before you even get a pet.

We all love how you interact with your own cats and one dog. Your daily life is always a pleasure to watch and to see Milky, GB and baby Tan growing in a loving environment. To see both of you, little brother and older brother, share your life with us is why I watch your videos; although I am far from you, I relate to your life in Montreal, Canada. I have always owned male cats, and my younger brother owns dogs. I have been following you since Milky was a baby years ago. When we go on vacations, we must ensure we have someone looking after them. Otherwise, it would not be possible; you make sure it is also your case. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Kimmy, when I was trimming his nails, would always fall asleep while doing it. So after, he would sleep on me for about one hour or so. One of my cat a pure breed Persian blue point cat would if my other cat just used any of the litter "not necessarily" the one she was about to used her littler she would poo right next to her litter, hers was not used or dirty she did not like the smell that another cat had used any litter before her, even if her litter was away for the other cat. My solution was to watch her let her do her thing then okay open the door to where part of the house the other litter was kept. That settle it, when I was home, if I was not obviously she would poo right next to it, which upset me, since my house has 11 rooms with inside pool and home gym right next to it.

So we'll said about the responsibility of having a pet, it's a life, they feel pain and fear just like us and they are completely dependent on their human owners. I try to give my two fur girls a similar life that GB, Tan and Milky has in getting all the care, love, comforts and joy out of life. I have always thought hard when in the process of getting a cat, an especially when I got two cats, a brother and sister pair. To me this is a lifetime commitment ,for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part. ❤😻. You and bro are my role models for caring and loving our animals in best way possible. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and I just adore your beautiful trio, just adore them!❤👏👏👏😻

This whole video proves that you two are some of the best part pet owners! People always assume that walks are all you have to do for dogs- and some of them think going one block is a full walk! When I dogsit for family members I'm gone for roughly 45m each walk. They're surprised when they find out, but the dogs are so much happier when they get home. And what you said about mental energy is true. Cats are easy on paper- if you ignore how bored and destructive they can get when people forget they need exercise and playtime too. Wondering if I'm doing enough for my animals is always at the back of my mind. Hopefully your video will help prepare some first time pet owners to become good owners.
