Hello Zeek! :) I have been singing for 14 years and I am currently 28 years old. I would like to help you with your singing. I am not a vocal coach so you do not have to listen to me. What caught my eye in the video was your sadness at the end. I would like to say that you need to believe in yourself because you are able to improve your singing. Here are things I noticed in the video as well as suggestions. I noticed you have a microphone taped to your neck. The tape is creating noise so you do not need to have the microphone in your videos. Your audio was better without it. The background music was quiet in the video as well. I feel that you need to sing songs by other artists because they are probably too high for your voice. I would recommend Adele songs. I also saw that you were lifting your head. I would like for you to keep it camera level. You could raise your camera looking down for the best face angle. You need to work on your breath control. You need to breathe from your stomach instead of your chest. This will allow you to get more air. You constantly breathe and that creates lots of sound. You were pitchy at the beginning and end. You could do warm-ups and rehearsals before you sing, sing with Mariah to match the notes, and sing in the bathroom to hear yourself. Your falsetto sounds alright. When you started the chorus, you dropped the key. The key you sing has to be the same throughout the song. You sang great during the chorus. Your pitch was great but you need to have more confidence and sound in your chest voice. You had some difficulty singing the chorus because the key you sang did not match the key of the background music. Then, you were flat at the end. You had great agility throughout the song. Well, I hope I helped you out. Hopefully, The Honest Vocal Coach could help you better than I could. Even if you fail to get in to the top 20, continue to enter so that you can continue to improve. You sound better than the last time :)

I don’t mean this in a bullying way.. but you need a chest voice. The premise of singing is to start low and build up. When u start a song singing high there’s not much higher u can go. Do singing exercises where u start low and go high.. aka sirens.. try to go as deep as possible and you’ll find u might actually like your chest voice
