I'm homesteading in Albania. I was traveling full time, and then the virus came and I needed a place to settle for a while. It's very peaceful here in the mountains. I'm growing okra, onions, lettuce, and peppers (my first time growing from seeds!). Also chamomile and mint. It's rewarding to eat what I grow myself. If I was living here beyond January 2021, I'd plan for a bigger garden next year. Yours is lovely!

I love growing my own vegetables we have chickens and this will be my first attempt to grow potatoes and yummy sweet potatoes too i cook them with carmalzed onions amazing together!

Your videos remind me of how I grew up with my great-great aunt Annie. They had no electricity so everything was done by lamplight. No electronics. Her yard was filled with herbs and fruit trees. We had a garden that was 1/4 of an acre and grew most of what we ate. My grandmother one time said if you don't work you don't eat oh, and she was right. Thank you for making such a lovely bunch of videos. It's better than going to a therapist LOL

We had those metal ice trays growing up as kids. Hated them. It helps to run hot water over the bottom and min or so to help release the ice cubes

Honestly you remind me of my grandfather...He was always in the garden or in the kitchen helping my grandmother out. I miss them,it’s been 4 years since i last saw them. I had the best time there and they had the biggest garden i’ve ever seen. Anyways, thank you😄

Flower beds, natures beauty, peaceful. In this amazingly frightful time we should pause to really check out all of Gods creations both inanimate and animate, and find the beauty there. Right now I love to hear the birds tweeting each morning and watching them pause on wires up in the air, love that and I love to watch them swarm and flight together. I looked it up how they all know what to do all at once, there are a lot of theories but no definite answers, I find it truly amazing and beautiful. A gift from God. 🌻

So serene and inspiring. Your garden is beautiful, I have a hard time growing things in the hard Texas soil but I do grow a few things, you gave me a great idea for drying my herbs. Staying home during the pandemic isn’t so bad when you have a beautiful garden to tend😊😊😊💐🥀🌹

I love your videos. I am sure folks who may have not tried gardening will give it a try thanks to your encouragement and example. Here in upstate New York, USA, we have had a very dry spring (unusual for us) and lost many plants in our vegetable garden . However my flowers and perennial herbs are doing fine, one of the great attractions in gardening with perennials. Summer tea is such a treat with the fresh herbs and rose petals. Seed companies have run out of popular varieties here which is wonderful to see. More folks have turned to gardening, the infusion of life during the pandemic is especially appreciated I think.

Lemon balm is Melissa officinalis and Melissa in Greek means bee. The early beekeepers used to rub it on their hives to make the bees happy and return home. It also makes them healthy. So grow it near your hives.

Thank you for such a beautiful, calming and spiritual video. It was so inspirational on this Sunday morning. It got me to work in my little tiny backyard garden. My lavender died and I needed to remove it. Not sure why it died, maybe over or underwatering or just too old. It was really woody and I pruned it back a lot then it seemed to dry out and die. I used your Bible verses to supplement my Bible study. May GOD continue to richly bless you!

I have been enjoying your videos for sometime now 😊 You mentioned you didn’t do cooking videos because your stove corner is so dark, another vlogger I enjoy too, did something out of the box you might also enjoy, which is setting up a cute small country feel lamp in that corner of the kitchen, even if just for your own pleasure could make cooking a little more enjoyable for you.
