The anime opening formula is usually something along the lines of: 1. Opening slice of chorus or prechorus, usually softer 2. Instrumental bridge that goes hard on the electric guitar 3. The calm, but also tense first verse 4. The suspenseful prechorus building up to the chorus 5. The absolute BANGER of a chorus

Black Clover's set of openings never fail to make for a bop, and they're awesome. If you liked this, then man, you'll love the endings. Almost all of them give a neat, nostalgic vibe and are all bangers just like the openings.

The opening 12 sounded like more of and end of a story because it was the final opening of the huge arc that went throught the entire show up to that point. The 13th is the beginning of a new story, after a timeskip (Which is why the guy seemed different).

After "guess who is back" aired in the anime Crunchyroll made a post with the title "Black clover cant have a bad opening" and to this day they are still right.

There isn’t closure because the anime stopped. It will most likely pick back up very soon when the movie is out. There is still alot more manga to get through. Also he looks different in the last opening because there was a time skip.

The last OP isn’t the closure part of the anime cause there is still more content to animate from the manga! That last OP introduced a time skip in the anime where they got stronger and ready to fight their greatest threats yet! The start of a new arc. It’s one of my favorite OP from Black Clover 🔥🔥🔥😍

If you'd like some more Black Clover flavoured bangers then the endings are also really great. One of 'em's even performed by the main characters voice actor and it is SO SWEET. I also would love to see you cover Fairy Tail and potentially Edens Zero? Both works by Hiro Mashima but Edens only has 3 openings and endings so far as i'm aware Fairy Tail however, has a lot, and they are a diverse set of absolute bangers. you should listen to the endings of chainsaw man. there are twelve of them, even tho there is only one season, because they made an unique ending for each episode. all of the endings are really good and really recommed watching all of them

There's this cool indie series here on KZfaq called "Meta Runner" , a 3D animated 28 episode series about E-Sports in a cyberpunk esque future. It's not particularly popular, and I can't guarantee it will draw in views, but the vocal tracks "Always Running", "Breeze"(season 1 intro and outro), "Only Up", "Steady" (season 2 intro and outro) and "Trade" (season 3 outro) "Bluejay" (Finale song) are on par with actual anime soundtracks. Highly recommend, especially if you're into a kinda cyberpunk techno rock vibe. I know it's not popular, but for a series available to watch for free,the soundtrack is amazing. Anyway, thus ends my out of the box suggestion.

I'm currently watching Black Clover and on OP 11, I have to say my favorite openings have to be OP 3, OP4, and OP 10. This also has to be one of my favorite anime's.
