I lost my passport to this exact scenario. My husband and I were sitting across the aisle from one another on a flight back home from moving my daughter into her college dorm. The person sitting to my husband's right had a big fluffy Labradoodle sitting in his lap. As I was settling into my seat I heard my husband telling someone “If I don’t switch seats with my wife she will never speak to me again”. I had no idea what he was talking about. Then, I turned my head and saw my new friend Lokie! When I switched seats (of course I did) I was completely distracted. I hadn’t put my passport away yet and believe I stuck it into the seat pocked in front of me as I was taking off my jacket. I didn’t notice it was missing until I arrived home. However, Lokie was super cute!
