Killer bees by the old Horse Ranch or at least that is what it was years ago. I grew up in St. David and hunted deer all through where those bees were. We used to take an old road to the right just before the ranch house and go south along the Dragoon’s hunting deer, quail and dove. Lots of memories in that area. Most of the deer and javalena hunting was on horse back. I suppose now that is all gone.

I have work in Cochise Stronghold. Its a cool place. All the way back where the old rock house is located.

I wanted to ask... I see your videos and can tell what area of the country you are in. Do normal honey bees do as well in AZ as the africanized ones? There's so many places in AZ that its hard to tell if they have life in them. And I wonder if it works (and works successfully) to put up apiary sites in AZ, when the landscapes look rough. But in your videos it looks like the africanized ones seem to thrive there. (The 500 lb honey camper episode for example.) Unless...if its possible that africanized and normal honey bees might not perform similarly? Thanks for the videos.
