What’s happening in this Honey movie clip?
Missy (Missy Eliott) arrives at the studio and sees that Honey (Jessica Alba from Fantastic Four and Valentine's Day) is not here. Michael (David Moscow) tries to convince Missy to just watch Katrina's (Laurieann Gibson) dance, but she's not impressed. She calls Michael out for his arrogance and makes it clear that she will postpone the filming of her video until he fires Katrina and brings in Honey like what she asked. She also tells Katrina off that her dance moves are terrible and leaves. Michael crawls back to Honey and begs her to work for him, but she declines.

What’s the Honey movie about?
Honey Daniels (Jessica Alba from Fantastic Four and Valentine's Day) has long waited to reveal her dancing talents to the world, and now her greatest desire is about to come true. She worked in a club as a bartender, in a CD store with her best friend Gina, and gave hip-hop classes in a small dance studio in the Bronx run by her mother. She auditioned several times to be in music videos, but to no avail. Then one night, after dancing in the club where she worked, she was spotted by a music video director who was very well known in the industry. A few weeks later, Honey found herself choreographing for several stars and her dream of making it in the dance world came true. But very soon she had another dream related to the young people in her neighborhood, having the same passion for hip-hop as she did.

Wouldn't this be more of a role than a cameo? She was in multiple scenes and had lines. I thought a cameo is a short brief appearance. i hate to be that guy to be technical 😂 I just thought a cameo was js a background character like Stan Lee in marvel movies.

This whole hilarious scene should simply be called Karma. Between Missy letting them know that Katrina is not it, and Honey telling Michael just how little a person he really is ( She was being generous. Smaller than an atom). Loved it all

Oh yes she did have the right! She's the artist and has her own style. As an experienced choreographer, Katrina should've known better than that. All artists are different, and what works for one artist, won't work for all of them

It’s supposed to be an in-joke. The movie itself is based on Laurieann Gibson, so having her play Honey’s rival Katrina was just a bit of fun. So there’s no disrespect to her, the film itself is inspired by her.
