loved this video. super helpful. can you expand on the male to female ratio? how bad is it in terms of walking around on campus, friends, dating, etc?
@HonneyHill6 жыл бұрын
So glad I could help! The campus is majority women. There are men on campus, but classrooms are 75% women, 25% male. 40-50 people in a classroom is considered a large classroom setting at HU. When it comes to dating, it can be competitive since there aren't that many men. And to be honest, most guys don't want to get into relationships too soon because there are so many high standard women on campus. Relationships happen, but unfortunately cheating is kind of common. There are a lot of different ways to form friendships on campus. Find people in clubs, dorms, region based clubs/competitions are also a easy way to meet new people. But above everything GET TO KNOW AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE FRESHMEN YEAR! Hope this answers your question :) PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!

I am from Chicago ! And Hampton is number one on my list !! Thanks for the video! Any advice? Or tips for Hampton ? Or how you chose Hampton ?

My number one tip is to get to know as many people as you can freshmen year and keep your reputation clean. It's a small school so you can have a lot of fun but gossip spreads fast. Hope this helps ☺️Don't forget to subscribe! More Hampton videos in the future. 🙌🏾

After the HU townhall, do you think it’s worth it to apply? Do you think changes would actually be made by administration?

News flash!! Things have not much changed since 1976 (my freshman year). My class was the 1st class not to have curfew all year round. They just started building the student off campus apartments just before I graduated in 1980. Off campus housing was limited to private homes, apartments and college sponsored hotel rooms. Pretty much your observations in 2018 are the same as it was for me in 1976. Traditions live!! Ubiquity!!

Can you bring a bike to Hampton?
@HonneyHill6 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about a bicycle, of course. As far as a motorcycle, I'm sure that you could (never knew anyone on campus with a motorcycle). But the decal stickers for parking may be different from a regular car. Hope this was somewhat helpful.
