PLEASE READ: (Lyrics below) - song/fandom by request for AmyNikita - I’ve done this WT song before, years ago to another fandom, but this is a different version (and one I like better as well. :)) This video is a bit dark - spotlighting the raw passion between Henry & Anne, of love and of hatred, that eventually led to her death by beheading (a huge part of this, because of her inability to give him a son, making him feel their union was cursed, which I show through clips, but also because of the lies devised by her enemies). The symbolism of end shows clips leading up to Henry’s death (I used the dream sequence there since they never actually showed it), the memory of her haunting him, her ghost visiting him, with him now remorseful, and her at the end, looking on as if at last vindicated. Symbolism: red flashes- death is near; purple and gold (royal colors) swirl into past at beginning of lyrics, showing how it all started. Vid follows lyrics and is in both Anne’s and Henry’s POVs - midsong, it shows her coronation, which was the countdown to the end of her days, the coloring of clip with her crowned dark and ominous to depict that. The cross falling behind her is symbolic of Henry seizing the power as head of the church, feeling it was his right as king, and in so doing, was a huge reason he was able to execute his wife (who did not “fall” at the end, though she was unjustly accused, but stayed strong and brave throughout.)
