Had one installed and a new boiler. My boiler only heats water and heating randomly worked when testing yesterday

I never have my heating running on thermostat. In fact I never ever touch the thermostat. I only use the unit in the boiler cabinet, where I set up the heating and hot water once a day for 1 hour. The problem is that lately I can only heat water on demand, but the hot water never work on timer, although the light come on the device, but I don't know why. The only way I get heating to work nowadays is to press the green button on the thermostat, which is a bummer... now I can't get it to work on a schedule as I used to. The schedule settings in the unit are exactly the same as they were before, but they don't work. I'm guessing that is something on the thermostat that is preventing the unit in the boiler cabinet (I don't know how call this...) from working. Can somebody help please?

Mine instead of showing at the begginjng 17 degrees, starts with 24 degrees… but there are no 24 degrees … how do i set that up
