I really want to thank you. The Honeywell instructions are really non existent. I didn’t understand any of it and had inadvertently set it to 16 degrees. After a chilly night, I was just considering what I could possibly do when I found your KZfaq. Brilliant. I am so grateful.

If the thermostat is in AUTO, if you raise the temp with the plus button (e.g. 25degrees when the AUTO mode is set to 23degrees), il will only run for 1h, as you can see on the screen on bottom-right side. I'm pretty sure I've seen this in other videos. Correct me if I'm wrong. I think only the newer T4R version can be modified to run more than 1h if you override the temperature in AUTO mode.

Very useful, much better than the pathetic small guide that came with the thermostat. I'm intrigued that when you set up day 1, it seems to jump to day 3, and not day 2. Mine does that and that is what happens in the video (unless I'm mistaken). I think this is an error with the device. Anyone else noticed this?

That was a master class on how to set the on/off times and temperature. Thank you. My problem is, I can't find how to set the clock. When I go to menu the only option are on/off/temperature, I cannot find the clock. Help! I completely agree with others on here, the manual is absolute rubbish

Are you sure that P2 and P4 are for when we want the heater to be off? How can I program the 4 programs for my house to be at 21degree from 6am to 23pm and for the heater to be off between 23pm and 6am?
@florind15878 ай бұрын
P2 and P4 are just intervals like P1 and P3. He decided that P2 and P4 are for the heater to be off because he set them for lower temperatures and the heater won't start. If you want to have only 2 intervals (23-6 and 6-23) you can set P1=6:00, P2=6:30, P3= 23:00 and P4=23:30. Or maybe you can skip somehow the P3 and P4, so only P1&2 remain active.

I would like to work the thermostat manually so I can turn it down low at night. The sound of the pump keeps me awake at night. Am I able to do that? The manual is useless.
@ItsMeJoshLee2 жыл бұрын
In Manual Mode, press + to raise the temp, or - to lower to the desired temp. For the heating to come on it has to be set at least 2 degrees above the ambient room temperature. (the large number on the display)

Brill. My issue is though that my thermostat has disconnected from my baxi boiler. The receiver is flashing red. The boiler is working independently but will be costing me a small fortune! I do not know how to reconnect! Can't see a reset button on thermostat and the reset button on the boiler isn't working :(

You have not mentioning this NEEDS a battery. We did not know and our boiler was constantly on our room was extremely hot.. I had to turn our boiler off to stop it. Eventually I realized it must have a battery BUT WHAT A JOB getting in there is NOT a arrow or any indication of a compartment The battery compartment IS NOT OBVIOUS. This video is good showing how to but it DOESNT mention it will need a battery change and what happens when it does. I guess it stops on whatever mode it is in when the battery fails either ON OR OFF. Ours failed in the on mode and when we came in it was UNBEARABLE. Im glad my dog was NOT fastened in that room. I DREAD to think about this happening

There's an option on KZfaq to slow the playback speed down or you can just replay the bits you miss.
