Been to chungking mansion way back 2019 (before pandemic) ok naman. Good for 4 person room namin and facing the road kaya maganda ang view of the city. The ultimate rule pag nag tatravel talaga is "dont talk to strangers" pra safe ka. 😊

We are from the US, and we stayed dyan sa Chunking mansion in 2013 and 2016. Sobrang mura sya ( through Agoda ), and medyo shady lang ang area sa ground floor? But the units are cheap and small, pero mabait and very accommodating ang mga property manager, and yes the elavators are slow pero i would come back again for better deals sa rooms. Wala naman nambastos sa amin or anybody, mind you may mga bata kami kasama ha?

An alternative will be Mirador mansion. Or try staying to other parts of HK such as Central, Causeway bay, Sheung Wan, etc.

ayyy ang ganda na ng room nyo dyan sa mirador may bintana . chinese new year padin pal ang feb 6-10 puro sold out na yung mga okay na hotel na wala sa mirador or chungking puro mahal na kaso may nakita akong magandang review modern hostel. Pero mas okay tong sainyo may malaking bintana. Usually kasi wala.

Had a horrible experience there, originally booked in one of the hostels there, sa 13th floor, but when we got there the place was apparently closed for months, we were told to proceed to the 3rd floor, same owner daw po kasi nun original na binook namin, but we got off the elevator may 3 Indians na nakaabang then sinundan kami hanggan 3rd floor at palabas ulit, we didn't feel safe so umalis kami at na hanap ng new hotel 11 pm ng gabi, Di na kami tumuloy mag check in dyan, we walked about half a kilometer and found metacity living, a bit pricey but mas kampante kami

Nakuha namin yun triple room sa metacity living for 17k for 5 nights, so around 3k+ per night, 3 kami naghati so

Hello po. Nag HK din po kmi last jan 2019. We stayed in Golden Crown Guest House very near in Chungking Mansion. Cheap accomodation but with bigger and cleaner room. We had a pleasant stay. Try considering it.

Never stayed in Chungking pero once sa Mirador. Ok naman mismong room kaya lang ang crowded kasi talaga masyado ng mismong building kaya this time we made sure na di na kami dun magsstay and we found Yes Inn, and it was all worth it. 😊

I think i stayed there too.😢 i wud never go back to that place. Grabe ang trauma sakin. 1st time ko pa namn yun sa hk. The hotel we stayed in was managed by a pakistani o indian ba yun 😢 basta very traumatic.😢😢

Chungking Mansion? We’ve read more negative comments about this area, that’s why we never stayed there. 😊

Its OK to stay there if you are in groups...just be nice to them! If you're alone medyo lang delikado...May experienced ako dyaan a teenager Indian boy kissed me when he is about to exit the elevator😢 I was shocked...But once lang yon...I've been in HK for 7 years in the 1990's So just beware and never be alone there...

Hello there! Sorry for your experience. But yes, I don’t know pero hindi din ako masyado kumportable to stay there kaya konti lang naman ang diff in terms of price sa hotel na pinagstayan namin, nag-GO kami. Super kumportable. ❤️

@@gowithmel Sa September pa naman punta namin...Sana makakuha ulit kami tonight ng Booking sa Golden Crown Guesthouse Nathan Road din siya...pero parang 8th floors lng ang taas and tabi niya ang mirador...like you kahit mag bayad ng kaunti Basta OK LNG ang crowd. So Hirap mag book ngayon kaya.

May similar na ganyan hotel na pinag stayan namen, California Hotel dyan lang rin sa area na yan, halos same price lang din. Ok naman hehe scary lang saka ang dumi ng stairs nila kse medyo matagal elev nila since yun nga residential sa taas.

Haha totoo review mo po sa chungkin mansion 2019 nag tour kmi magpamilya hatak kung hatak ka ng mga indiano para kumain sa kanila Pero infairness masarap pagkain gusto ko first time ko kumain biryani dyan pa Pero laki pinag bago umaliwalas dun :) Okey yang room mo po :) thank you sa reviw kasi mas makakapilibkaming budgetarian traveller ehehe

Traveled to 31 countries and everytime i go to hong kong for 2-3 days, i stayed here. For a solo backpacker, its great! If you have family, i wont suggest it

When reviewers say room was small. ITS REALLY SMALL. So manage your expectation. Its great value if youre a solo traveler and dont spend too much of your time in the room

Yes! Super dami kaya as much as possible dapat wag kang kakausap ng ibang tao while naglalakad ka dun. 😂 Pero tama great exchange rate kapag dun nagpapalit.

Mas believable ang content nio kng experience niong magCheck in sa Chungking Mansion and make a review then, at wag muna sana magcritisize, unfair naman sa may ari.. pareho den naman and size ng rum nio sa Chungking Mansion ako 2x na kc nagcheck in dun at so far ang complain ko un Lift, pero kng sa gulo, matao sa ibaba, natural commercial ang area na un, what do u expect? Parang dka napupunta ng Divisoria or quiapo? Titira kba sa hotel ng maghapon? Eh kng lagi ka naman sa labas? practical lng, d pwede ang maarte at mayamn kuno na sapat lng pala ang salapi.. Pasensha na pero wag magcompare kng dmo pa naeexperience, iba2 den ang reviews wag lagi magdepend , to try is to believe

@@sameensantiago LOL… there are more other options along Nathan Road na hindi sa Chungking Mansions na same lang ang price range, have you tried other options? Point is, don’t just follow other travel vloggers because they said so, instead, do your own research because it’s you who knows your preference and budget range.

Stay here last time, went out at 2am to find a mineral water and there's a corpse @death person been taken out of the building by ambulan. Crowded and not safe but yea cheap

Hello there! No po, yung Mirador Mansions po ay isang malaming building, marami pong hotels/hostels na nandun mismo sa loob. Kaya po tignan nyo po yung name ng Hotel/hostel kung saan located, kung Chungking or Mirador.
