Actually in Europe, portuguese people sometimes eat chicken fingers, and in France they have a saying "tout est bon dans le cochon" that means they eat everything from the porc and don't throw anything away, so you get some dishes like porc ears or porc head etc.

Your canto got so much better and much smoother!! I tried covering the subtitles and see if I understand your Scotland English and had to try harder than usual - it’s cool though, I love hearing different accents. You should come and visit Vancouver one day and compare the dim sums to HK! We are known to have very 正中 dim sum here 🫶🏻🫶🏻

i am glad those translated english names from Lukhoo for dimsum aren't on the menu in the dimsum restaurants in the bay area lol. spring roll is probably the only one that is correct

My go to for dim sum is Har gau, turnip cake, lo mai gai, har chuen funn, gai zhau (chicken feet), and daan taht. Some time seseme rolls or ma tai gou. We order stuff also like chow mein.

When you try the fried insects in the future, I would recommend stating with the silkworm eggs. Salty, soft and packed with protein. goes extremely well with a round of beer. Be careful with the grasshoppers as they have spikes on their legs which could cut your gum when you chew it.
