友谊地久天长 (Auld Lang Syne) is a march using the tune of a Scottish folk song. The march is used by multiple former British colonies, including officially being used by the Hong Kong Police.
I do not represent any of the ideologies, countries, or religions shown on this channel. No matter if we agree or disagree, it is still important to document the songs of every ideology, country, and religion.

However it is used by many former colonies in the commonwealth. Also it’s not nesecarily a New Years song as military marches count this, also it was written years before New Years became a thing

Sorry, I give it a thumb down. Marching to a Scottish song (Auld Lang Syne, in English "Old Long Since") in goose steps style just does NOT fit. They may as well March to Panzerlied or Horst Wessel Lied in goose steps.

Tell that to Hong Kong then who still uses British marches alongside the Chinese marching style as of 2022. Using a fascist march from a communist country also makes no sense

@@Danjori Goose Steps was originated in Prussia and is not necessarily "Fascist March", but the marching style in very unnatural and looked unhuman. This is stupid because human beings are not birds and do not walk that way !!! The Nationalist Army in ROC also had been marching in Goose Steps since Chiang Kai-shek times, but they switched to American marching style not to long ago.
