Are you looking to go on the Hong Kong to Macau ferry and want to see what the experience will be like? I took the ferry in July 2023. I purchased the Grand ticket which is like a business class. The ferry ride itself takes about and hour to an hour and 10 minutes. The immigration processing on both ends is fast and efficient. The Macau ferry terminal is much nicer and newer than the Hong Kong Ferry terminal.

You are the man! Only travel blogger I actually trust. I am looking to visit Hong Kong and Macau. I am looking at 10-12 days total. Too much? I was looking at staying in Macau for two nights just to soak the glitz and the remaining in Hong Kong. Basically I am looking at a solo visit. I just don’t want to rush around.

Exit D at the Sheung Wan terminal is right below the ferry terminal. Just take the escalator up, and up, and up. About 4 floors.

@@VirtCam Yes. When you get off the MTR at Sheung Wan, look for Exit D, then start taking escalators up (about 4 floors or so) and you will be in the middle of the Ferry Terminal ticketing area.

Yes that’s the direct way from MTR to the ferry terminal. And avoid the heat

Nice take. As for exchanging money, I believe Macau establishments accept Hong Kong dollars (at a 1:1 rate) though relying on that puts you at a slight disadvantage especially for large amounts.

Any washroom in the boat/ferry in case I need to pee really urgent? Takes too long to board the boat and leave the pier. Too much walking.

Maybe you can stay at a hotel called GRAND LISBOA PALACE I went to that place and it's hella amazing!

Around an hour Tickets ranging from $150 or more, depending on the class, time and ferry company
