I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like having too many characters will make some of them almost completely forgotten or they just don't play a role in the story like in the Xianzhou Luofu. In Penacony every character did something that progresses the story, meanwhile in Luofu some characters felt like they didn't really do anything (looking at you Yanqing) and even Tingyun who was supposed to make us sad for her death (I think) just made me laugh because she honestly didn't do anything and I forgot she was even supposed to be with us half the time Like I said I hope I'm wrong, and this is just my opinion on the Luofu storyline so no offense to anyone that liked it, Penacony set a new standard for writing in star rail and seeing them messing the new Xianzhou storyline would be really disappointing, especially because I actually like the Xianzhou itself so far (its lore, its design and other stuff)

I think it's interesting they're pushing Sunday off. Screwlum too. Reminds me of Baizhu from Genshin. The reason it took them so long to add Baizhu, was because they were waiting for 3.0 to add in Dendro and Baizu was a Dendro character. It's possible maybe they may add a new path/element in Star Rail's 3.0 (or later) and they're saving Sunday/Screllum for that. On the other hand, if Sunday released right now, future units would prob power creep on him. If they release him much further from now, he'll be the powercreep, and easily be one of the best characters in the game. In all honesty, I'd love "Path of Order" Imaginary Sunday.

HuoHuo is definitely getting Luocha treatment by not having a rerun nearly a year. i can talk for hours how limited Abundance units are so exclusive that an account only needs one or two before it gets too much. so, they wont bother making more, make them hybrid units (like HuoHuo and Gallagher), or push back their banners are much as possible.

There's only much they can do before the next Abudance units start powercreeping the old ones. Heck, even the Preservation characters seems to be doing the job of "keeping your team alive" for long enough to not need Abundance in some cases

Was happy with this update until I found out we’re leaving Penacony with only a single companion quest and nothing but a bunch of mini game events just to go back to the boat again. So much for always moving forward.

Agreed. I felt the content to be vert underwhelming and the story content to be very bloated. And as always they need to quit being stingy with jades, lower pity and lower the price in shop.
