No, it's not like that at all !Warning: pretty long text and a spoiler for that one world quest ahead! We have one NPC lady somewhere near the hotel, I think, can't remember the exact location. So. If you talk to her, she says that she's hiding from her ex-lovers because she reincarnated, and every time that happens, she forgets about them completely until they come after her trying to make her remember and start their relationship over again, but she has no feelings for them. But I think I can guess where your thoughts come from. There was a quest where you have to help an artisan in the Exalted Sanctum with poetry, which ends up with the reveal that his passion for poetry comes from vague memories of his past life (although he doesn't realize it), and because he wants to impress that one foxian lady in the Divination Commission. The lady was on love with a famous vidyadhara poet and is said to love him dearly till this day which makes our artisan friend very jealous and wanting to prove that he can do better. Turns out, her ex-lover was in fact the same artisans' past incarnation, who loved her for many centuries and secretly brought a locket with her name on it with him when it was time to reincarnate in order to remember her. And he loved her for several lifetimes. The thing is, the Foxian lady got tired of this relationship eventually and wants him to stop chasing after her and move on. So, TLDR: it really depends on individual, rather than the vidyadhara race as a whole, about the "one love forever" thing

I hate to be the person who tell's you this but.. blade x dan heng is very much canon as it has been explained throughout the game already (i think. But there's videos on it soo-). They also don't hate eachother, just a mutual problem they have.. (that and bc they are Yingxing and Dan Feng who are still married to this day)
