I've driven this road many times, but I really got to enjoy it more from this video because I didn't have to pay attention to the road and traffic and could enjoy the view.

I don't know how or when, but I will make my way back to the island. I need that serenity in my life again

Thanks for this road trip up Tantalus. Long ago (1978) I married a local girl at Puu Ualakaa State Park on a day very much like this one. Last visited two years ago when I hiked from Manoa Falls on the Makiki Cliff trail, to the park and back down Tantalus.

I would not go up there at night alone that is for sure...
