I don't know about anyone else but I struggled to pry this apart without damaging the plastics a bit. I have a few pry tools (metal/plastic) but they just weren't thin enough. I ended up lifting the LCD out at first and had to remove the adhesive and stick it back with B-7000. I don't get why it was so easy for you and others. It was like it was glued down and I couldn't wedge in. I'm not a pro but have done many various phones and tablets, but have never struggled with such a basic step before!

Good video. Just one question...when removing the motherboard, did you place the metal tool inside the SIM card tray in order to lever it out? I'm referring to 5:04. Also, is it necessary to remove the cameras before removing the motherboard?

Nice video! I have a question. Besides your battery, if you have an android that goes through a boot loop or doesn’t turn on at all, what part of the phone would you say is the problem. Also, data! What or where is the “hard drive” part of the phone in this video that stores files, pics, docs, etc?

Gute Anleitung, wie man das Honor 7 x in seine Einzelteile zerlegt. Allerdings ist am Ende des Videos der Akku immer noch drin. Es ist also sehr fraglich, ob man tatsächlich das Motherboard entfernen muss, um den Akku zu tauschen und ob man ihn überhaupt tauschen kann. Das muss man wohl oder übel selbst ausprobieren. Da man einen Ersatzakku kaufen kann, müsste es gehen....

When I open mine (BND-L24) it's totally different... the backpannel seems to be the heavier part but can't see any circuits there, and the screen part has many sheets, kind of like a blackplate. Is my model different from the one in the video? How do I correctly open it? Really need to repair gps issues... please. Can't find any other video that matches my phone

Useless, doesn't tell what type or size driver to use. I have a Mate SE, supposed to be the same. Screw is so micro, way smaller than T1.
