After the unboxing of the HONOR Magic6 Pro, I have been hands-on testing it over the last week and this is my review so far! 5600 mAh battery, 6.8" LTPO 120hz AMOLED display, Magic OS 8.0 software, 50MP triple camera, and much more, of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phone all covered!

Stop comparing it with Samsung. Honor Magic 5 pro was already better. 6 Pro is a big step ahead. Best battery, best selfie camera, 3D face unlock, best screen (PWM is a life saver), quickest shutter (the only android that competes with iphone in that department +smooth transitions), Desktop mode, IR blaster perfectly integrated with the Remote app, screen gestures, best multitasking and the new AI it just makes it the best smartohone out there. Try comparing photos of moving animals or children indoor and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for your review. It's really helpful. It's about time we have some alternatives to Samsung and iPhone. With Huawei banned and LG no longer making phones, phones have become boring. So I welcome honor with open arms especially being the only android phone with secure 3d facial unlock which I've loved on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P40 Pro. Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi should also pursue globally. We'll then have such great choices.

I'm still using my P40pro even tho it is almost time to switch. Not for any huge reason as the phone is still perfect after more than three years of usage, but I always wondered what to switch to. No phone ever got as close and Samsung is something I'll never buy. But now with this Honor and recent Xiaomi flagships I'm more than inclined to finally get a new phone. Am happy Honor is finally rising up to what Huawei was doing all that time ago.

Simply a great device but dont get confused. If yoir looking for an All-Rounder Flagship in android segment, its clearly s23 ultra or s24 ultra (depends on budget) If you looking for a Budget flagship with all rounder specs its clearly Honor magic 6 pro

same here. I was checking it over and over again for release date back in January and there was nothing official back then. I got the s24 and i like it but the Honor makes me think about changing it :)). Dont know if its worth it 100%

You have made the right choice... I can tell you as a non-youtuber. Have both devices in use, and Honor has some extra miles to go. Still, the 6 Pro is a great phone, especially if you are more into gaming. But the S24U is the better overall package.

The "dynamic island" kills it. I wish even one company would release one phone with no selfie cam. If i really need to take one, i use the back camera and the volume up key for much better quality.

OnePlus 12 has more power and a better screen, while the Magic 6 Pro takes better pictures and has a longer battery life. Also, the OnePlus has the latest Bluetooth version and more audio codecs

It has a few minuses: 1) really slow software updates, honor magic 5 pro didn't even get the android 14 yet; 2) zoom photos are really sht unfortunately :( also the video quality it's really bad due to eis... otherwise it's a good phone, and I Don't know if I should switch from s23 ultra to this..

@@asus1111ful Personally, I prefer to have a better camera. I had a Huawei P30 Pro and now I have OnePlus 9 Pro and when it comes to zoom in photos, the P30 was much better. OnePlus after recent updates has poor photos in dark rooms. And when it comes to software, I always use Nova and it always looks the same.

£850 phone is a cheap phone to you? Besides that the gap between sub £1000 phones and overrated S24U is just a margin. Plenty videos on KZfaq where Honor Magic 6 pro has taken better pictures than S24U.

@@emresaglam4595 Cuz it wasn't ready for it to be, they didn't pay lol. They just launched it globally, because the Honor Magic 6 Pro phone for self was ready, but yet, the software updates are still coming for fair comparison, that's why it wasn't in the DXOMark rating in the Camera section.
