Did you know that Joseph Gier (B.S.’33, M.S.’40 ME) was the first Black tenured professor at the University of California?
In this video collaboration with @BerkeleyEECS, we speak to Dana King, the sculptor behind Black Bodies in Bronze, about immortalizing Gier on the Berkeley campus.
