Jodie Grenier, CEO of the Foundation for Women Warriors (FFWW), discusses the "Hello Girls," a group of American female switchboard operators who served in World War I. Despite their service, these women were not recognized as veterans upon returning from duty and were ignored and forgotten for decades until 1977. Today, Grenier and FFWW are advocating for the Hello Girls to be honored with a Congressional Gold Medal.
