Go glad you got to the four owls. Such an underrated group and I wouldn’t even say this is one of their best tracks. Loads of good stuff on their new album but I’d say try “deadly movements with masta killer”, “pioneer with Kool G Rap” and “air strike with RA the rugged man” and bangers especially that last one.

Caught this a few years back, when it dropped. I was surprised that you're reacting to it. Nice to get some old skool flava turntablism vibe on the channel. Oh and further to Courts 95 comment, in the UK HIP HOP been underground but going since mid 80s a few even rotated on Yo MTV raps. But in the 2000s in US mainstream media took control of hip hop, in the UK it was too small a scene and wasn't manipulated and was left to carry on the road the US should have taken, a lot of great tracks have been made by UK HIP HOP MCs but its not a big enough scene to compete with the mainstream commandeered Grime rap, so reactors never get to hear it unfortunately.

Also you need to check out some old school Fliptrix like deep set thoughts which makes me cry every time I listen to it (in a good way) which there is actually a video for as well. It’s a bit like how Xzibit was always a good artist but he could never match his at the speed of life self which is one of the best albums ever made IMO, so Fliptrix is still good obviously but back then he was great if you get me/follow me. 👊🏻 Shit I didn’t even know there was a video for The Essence as well (Fliptix still obviously) also makes me cry every time, so deep. In order of appearence: Leaf Dog, Fliptrix, BVA and Verb T. These guys are freaking MONSTERS spitting bars, PERIOD. They have the group albums (highly recomendable) but they have their solo albums too (Fliptrix and Verb T, the most prolific) and they kill it. They became my favourites over the past year, trust me, give it a go, won´t dissapoint you. Greetings from Argentina!

Yo my guys please check out the Leaf Dog mix of this same song The Four Owls Think Twice (leaf dog remix), using the leaf dog instrumental that was originally picked for this track... it might even be better than the primo production - and he the greatest of all time imo.
