It's easy to say my first impression of the Hoo Knife V1 Stonewash blew me away. This is a stunning feeling and looking UK legal knife

Hey Moe, me either. I think after some wearing in it'll get even better. I know the Civivi Elementum uses the caged ceramic BBs and got crazy smooth after a month or so. All the best

I've been with Hoo since the OG v1 (#064), got very lucky with the prototype v1 blackout (#000), and have the sand blasted version (#016). I've had the OG in my pocket more than anything I've carried and I cannot fault them. I've recommended them to my family, my friends and it's a great conversation piece at BBQs. 100% recommend them.

Honestly I do t really mind where they come from, I base my collecting on the design and positive reviews etc. I’ll let you know what I think when it arrives, I’m really looking forward to it. I got it this morning and oh my gawd, it is a thing of true beauty. I cant believe how much knife Carl has managed to pack into something so "affordable" (All relative of course). But I am just blown away by it. It is going to have a solid place in my pocket for the next few weeks and a very long life in the usual EDC rotation I can feel. Thanks again for sharing your vid, and also to Carl for such a great knife. 🙂

The Luna is an awesome knife. My Luna had a D2 blade/G10 scales, where as this has the super BÖHLER M390/titanium handle. The Hoo Knife is a flipper too which makes it super fidget'y too 😂

Can anyone give feedback on Hoo knives customer service and delivery times. I've tried emailing RE in store collection, etc and got no answer. As they are a small company I'd be grateful to know what other people's experiences are?

Hi John, really sorry I missed your comment here. I've found Carl is usually really good at getting back to people. If you haven't heard back from your email, I'd definitely recommend messaging him on either Instagram or Facebook. It's true that he does get busy as it's just him running the show and he definitely makes the effort to get back to people. Fingers crossed he's got back to you already as I missed this message. Damn thats a nice one ! And the materials for the price are nice aswell. I have m390 on my Lionsteel Myto and it holds up verry well ! It has been my daily knife (off work) for over a year now. But damn this knife is sexy ngl. I like that style. And it would be nice to carry in germany aswell due to our laws. Nice vid mate !

ah yeah and what do u think about the flipper? would it act like a finger guard if ud close it on ur finger ?

You're welcome TB. Carl's main goal was to bring a high grade knife to people at the right price. This is a beauty... I'm sure he'll post across the sea 👍

Love the look of the knife. Are there any concerns the fact it’s a flipper knife…?

Hi Slane. Oh it's a beauty. Hmmmm... At this point I'm not concerned. I think there's a case in the future the flipper may be frowned upon however I think 'live for now' in the eyes of the law it's legal. It's not a flick knife, assisted knife or gravity knife. I've been flipping it all afternoon... The only concern I have is my wife leaving me from all the flipping 😂

@@slane6488 you're more than welcome buddy. I try to reply to everyone who leaves a comment. I've been testing a few torches recently and hadn't used the PD35 for a few weeks. I took it out last night with the hounds and it was like that first moment I used it in the dark again. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it when yours arrives 👍
